Welcome to Day 11 of my favorite new series: 365 Days of Children’s Books!
You’ll find a multitude of different types of books in this series – chapter books, picture books, read alouds, and books for a variety of ages and stages.
Don’t miss a day!
Today’s choice, Dogs, is from a series by Usborne which is nothing short of phenomenal for the early reader crowd.
The books in this Beginning Reader series have crisp, bright photographs. The text is also just right for the Preschool – First Grade crowd.

Dogs
Book: Dogs
Author: Emma Helbrough
While I love to read fiction, chapter books, and picture books with my children, I believe it’s very important to read a variety of material. That includes non-fiction, too!
My 6 year old is in love with dogs, so it only makes sense to find books about topics she enjoys!
Do we have a dog? Sadly, no.
Books and her Go Go Dog will have to suffice for now. 🙂
Dogs includes information about dog breeds, how dogs like to play, dogs in the wild, information about service dogs, and more.
This is an excellent, simple yet informative, introduction to America’s favorite pet!
Browse through each day in the 365 Days of Children’s Books series!
