Welcome back to my new series: 365 Days of Children’s Books! We hit day #16 today!
I don’t know what it is about multiplication facts (and math facts in general, for that matter), that my children seem to be so resistant to.
Isn’t it fabulous to easily know multiplication facts? Isn’t it so quick and easy to multiply instead of adding a long list of numbers?
The answer is YES. I just have to convince my children of that!
This Lift-the-Flap Times Tables book from takes a bit of the drudgery out of learning those multiplication facts. It presents the facts in a fun and engaging way!

Lift the Flap Times Tables
Book: Lift the Flap Times Tables
Author: Rosie Dickens
Illustrators: Benedetta Giaufret and Enrica Rusina
Lift the Flap Times Tables is a neat book for any student looking to learn or brush up on their times tables, regardless of their age.
Each page focuses on one set of multiplication tables – 1’s through 12’s.
Also, each set of tables has a different theme to hold interest – everything from dogs to the beach to pirates to a magic show!
When assigning the day’s tasks, I make sure that my child who is currently learning or reviewing multiplication facts goes through at least 1-2 pages. My kiddos never complain about that assignment because they love this book!
