Ideas for Using these Bible Coloring Pages
Choose your favorite Children’s Bible and read the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. It is a foundational Bible story, so you will find it in any Children’s Bible!
After reading the story, choose one (or all!) of the pages to look at and review. If my children are old enough, I have them lay out all of the pages and put them in the correct order. Even children that are not reading yet can do this type of sequencing activity with some help.
Have your child narrate this story back to you using the pages. Let your child teach you!
Most children will only want to color one page in a sitting, so this is the perfect style of activity to work on during the week – just do a page or 2 throughout the week, discussing different aspects of the Biblical account each time.
Adam and Eve is an excellent Bible story to discuss actions and consequences. Make sure your children understand that Adam and Eve both sinned, God knew, and there were consequences for that sin.
Note: I love the Cubbies definition of sin for young learners:
Sin is anything I think, say, or do that goes against God.
Lastly, take the time to go over vocabulary words that might be challenging: serpent, tree of knowledge, crafty, etc.
