Phonics Mazes for Valentine’s Day
Early readers need a lot of practice with CVC words, blends, and digraphs. These Phonics Mazes for Valentine’s Day are a fun way to practice those different concepts!
This 10-page set of mazes each have a Valentine’s Day theme. Your children will work their way through the maze by reading each of the clues along the way!
Students travel from word to word with their pencils until they reach the end, reading each word along the way.
In addition, there are several opportunities to fill in the blank with the correct letter(s) to complete the sound. Using the picture clue, children write the missing letters in the blanks.
Note that each of the fill-in-the-blank words are included in the actual maze.

— 3 pages of CVC word practice (uses a mixture of all 5 vowels as the medial letter)
— 2 pages of beginning blend practice
— 2 pages of ending blend practice
— 1 page of beginning digraph practice
