Description

U.S. Symbols Fact Pack Copywork Cursive

Your young learners will love this new line of copywork, each with a specific theme!  This next set of Fact Pack Copywork focuses on common U.S. Symbols that are representative of our American history.

THIS IS THE CURSIVE SET.

This set features 9 common American symbols with multiple facts about each symbol.

For example, the pages about The Great Seal include the following facts:

1.) The Great Seal of the United States is the official coat of arms for the U.S. The seal is used on official documents.

2.) The Great Seal is a round piece of metal with designs on both sides.  It was approved by Congress in 1782.

3.) The Great Seal features a bald eagle.  It holds an olive branch in one talon symbolizing peace. The other talon holds arrows of war.

4.) The Great Seal has the original U.S. motto: E pluribus unum.  It is a Latin phrase that means “one out of many.”

The following copywork pages are included:

  • American Flag – 6 pages
  • Great Seal (front side only) – 4 pages
  • American Bald Eagle – 2 pages
  • The Liberty Bell – 3 pages
  • The White House – 4 pages
  • Mount Rushmore – 3 pages
  • The Lincoln Memorial – 3 pages
  • The Statue of Liberty – 3 pages
  • The Washington Monument – 2 pages

This print copywork packet includes 2 levels:

→ In Level 1, words and phrases are modeled on primary lines with space immediately below for the student to practice.  Includes 30 pages.

US Symbols Fact Pack Cursive Liberty Bell

→ In Level 2, words and sentences are modeled at the top of the page in a smaller font, and space is provided at the bottom for students to practice.  Includes 30 pages.

Of course you can print these pages as many times as your students need to practice!

Note that the two levels contain the same set of copywork sentences.

Note that this packet is for the PRINT VERSION only.  This packet is also available in a cursive version only or in a BUNDLE for both the print and cursive versions.
