What’s Included in the Apple Find the Letter Worksheets
This set of Apple Find the Letter Worksheets focuses on one particular letter – either uppercase or lowercase – on each page.
There are 52 alphabet worksheets total – 26 for uppercase letters and 26 for lowercase letters.

Children trace and practice writing the page’s focus letter, and then identify the letter a variety of times at the bottom of each page.
Even though my son knows his letters and letter sounds, he enjoyed “editing” my worksheets for me using Do-a-Dot markers to mark each letter.

How to Use These Apple Alphabet Printables
There are a variety of ways to use these Apple Alphabet Printables. There are a few goals with these worksheets: letter recognition and to reinforce how to write a letter correctly. I often have my children use their finger first before picking up a pencil. Demonstrate to your child how to trace the letter correctly with your pointer finger and have them copy you. The large letter in the apple on each page is perfect for this pointer finger tracing activity.
Next, encourage your child to use a pencil to trace the focus letter in the top row of the page. There is space to trace the letter and also write the letter independently. Use this time to ensure your child is holding his pencil correctly and starting the letter correctly on the line. All of those skills are important to practice and master for young children!
Lastly, have your child use any manipulative you have on hand to mark the focus letter in each row. Manipulative options might include: bear counters, animal counters, dry beans, coins, game pieces. Anything will do!
I bought a set of Do-a-Dot markers 10 years ago, and even with heavy use they are still going strong! They certainly last year after year.
