Baby Moses Coloring Pages are a simple, meaningful way to teach the story of how God protected Moses as a baby (Exodus 2:1–10). If you’re doing Bible time with young children—at home, in a Christian classroom, or in Sunday School—these printable pages make it easy to read, talk, and remember the story together.
I am always excited to post a new packet of Bible Coloring Pages! They are fun to create and I enjoy spending time in God’s Word to make sure I portray the Bible story as accurately as possible.
It is always fascinating to me how God preserved the life of Moses at such a young age. Moses would grow up to lead the Israelite people, and it is interesting to read how God’s hand on Moses started in his infancy.
This set of Birth of Moses Coloring Pages is the perfect supplement to your Bible study! If you have mostly littles, you can study the Biblical birth story of Moses this week using just these coloring sheets and a Bible!
These Bible coloring pages are just right for a variety of learning environments – home, Sunday School lessons, a Christian classroom, or homeschool co-op.

Ideas for Using the Moses Coloring Pages
There are a variety of ways to use these Birth of Moses Coloring Pages with your young learners. Here are a few ideas to get you started:
- Study the Birth of Moses during your Homeschool Bible Time this week.
Each day, read the story of Moses’ birth in your favorite Children’s Bible, and if your children are 2nd or 3rd grade, read straight from your regular Bible.
After you read the account, choose to talk about one of the pictures in detail. - After reading the account, have your child spread all of the pages out on the table and then put them in the correct sequence of the story.
- Have your child use the pictures to tell the story back to you. Being able to narrate the events of a story in order is an important skill to learn.
- Use these pages as conversation starters.
After reading the Bible story (you can even read it straight from the pages themselves), ask questions like the following:
– Why did Moses’ mother put him in the reeds?
– How do you think Moses’ mother felt when she set the basket in the reeds?
– List 3-4 adjectives that describe Moses’ sister, Miriam. (Examples might include brave, smart, or clever.)
– Why do you think Pharaoh’s daughter made sure Moses was safe?

Homeschool Bible Time with Only Littles
Do you have only young children – Littles – in your homeschool? I consider that to be 2nd or 3rd grade and younger. If so, take a look at this video of how Bible time worked in our homeschool when we had only Littles. I loved the only Littles stage. So fun.
This is obviously an older video since my oldest 2 are now adults, my “Little Girls” are in high school, and my youngest is 8. ❤️
