For the past 2 or 3 years, I wanted to make a set of Christian Easter Worksheets for my younger children. However, I couldn’t get the packet finished in time for the Easter season. So I moved that to the top of my to-do list, and they are finally complete!
If you’re looking for Christian Easter Worksheets for your Kindergarten or First Grader, this is the packet for you!
I always love it when we can take our regular learning and incorporate a theme. It makes school more interesting when we can spice things up a bit to go along with the season or holiday.
Even though my 6 year old ‘edited’ most of the pages in this packet already, she will work through these again as we get closer to Easter.
There are a few that my second grader will do as well, even though they’ll be review for her.
Christian Easter Worksheets for Kindergarten and First Grade
If you’ve downloaded any of my other themed worksheet packets, you’ll notice that this Christian Easter set falls in line with that same style.
You’ll find several pages that focus on literacy, several on math skills, and a couple of “just fun” pages as well.
Each of the pages in this set focus on The Triumphal Entry, Jesus’ death on the cross, and His resurrection.
I wrote these pages with Kindergarten and First Grade in mind, however, you could certainly tweak most of them for eager Preschoolers or as review for second graders.
Included in this 16-page set:
→ Crack the Code – Use the code to complete the Bible verse (Matthew 28:6)
→ Who Am I? – Use the words in the word bank to complete the riddles
→ Easter Word Search
→ Fix the Sentence! – Write the sentences with correct capitalization and punctuation
→ Cut it Out! – Label each part of the Resurrection Scene
→ Build Your Own Sentence! (2) – Cut out the sentence, draw a picture, and practice writing; includes 2 pages
→ Easter Writing Practice
→ Punctuate It! – Cut and paste activity; Glue the correct end mark on each sentence
→ ABC Order – Arrange each section of Easter-themed words in ABC order
→ What Comes Next? – Cut out the pictures to complete the patterns
→ Easter Fun Page – Includes a maze, dot-to-dot, coloring, and tracing
→ Add or Subtract? – Complete each equation with a plus or minus sign
→ Color By Sight Word
→ Label the Picture – Cut and paste activity
→ Beginning Sound /cr/ – Find the objects that begin with the /cr/ sound, as in ‘cross’
→ Noun or Verb? – Cut and paste each word in the correct column
I hope you enjoy using these in your homeschool, classroom, or in your church groups!
