Many years ago – 6 to be exact! – I had the bright idea to create color by number worksheets. My girls especially loved coloring, and color by number (or color by CVC word or by addition) was an easy way for extra practice in those areas.
My first packet of color by number worksheets was a heart themed mini booklet. My girls loved it! Not only was it coloring, but the pages were in a booklet style which they adored.
This packet was originally published in January of 2014, so it was a bit dated and needed fresh fonts and an updated layout.
I hope your young ones enjoy this new version during this Valentine’s Day season!

Heart Color By Number Worksheets for Valentine’s Day
This 12-page set of color by number worksheets are to be used in a booklet that is stapled along the gray lines on the edge. Having these pages in a booklet-style makes it a fun change of pace from regular worksheets!
This packet can also double as fine motor practice when you have your young ones cut the pages along the dotted lines to make half pages.
Your child should put the cover page on top, and then arrange the pages in any way he chooses.
Then staple down the edge of the gray lines and off you go!
I intended for these pages to be very simple. The numbers used are 1-9, so even young preschoolers can work on number recognition.
