Sharpen scissor skills this fall with these fun and seasonal Apple Cutting Practice Worksheets! This printable set encourages preschoolers and early learners to cut along dotted lines, assemble a simple apple puzzle, and then glue it back together. These cutting practice worksheets are perfect for an apple-themed activity in your apple unit study or fall homeschool activities!
If you have young ones that love to cut & paste and need a bit of cutting practice, this apple-themed printable set will be perfect! Since fall is upon us, I’m busy making apple worksheets and printables for a unit study my girls and I are going to work through.
This set of cutting practice worksheets will be a fun addition to our books, activities, and other apple printables we’ll work on together.

In these cutting practice worksheets, your child cuts out the bottom portion along the dotted lines.
Then cut out the puzzle along the dotted lines. Yes, your child will cut through the picture!

How We Use Apple Cutting Practice Worksheets
Scissor skills activities can be used in a variety of ways in your homeschool, however, this is primarily how I use these types of cutting practice activities on a weekly basis.
Place printed pages in a tray along with a glue stick and scissors so you can pull them out easily. I have many activities prepped and ready to go at the beginning of the week so I can easily pull them out and not have to think about them.
When I have activities ready to go, it makes the homeschool day so much easier for my children and me. They don’t have to wait on me (their attention spans are short!), and they perceive these types of activities as fun.
And that’s a win for all of us!
I have several of these trays for various purposes in our homeschool room. I bought mine years ago at Wal-Mart and couldn’t find the exact ones, but these are very similar to what I have. As long as they can fit regular copy paper, I am happy with the size.
