Are you teaching your children about American symbols and what they represent this school year? These printable U.S. Symbols posters with facts are a hands-on way to help kids recognize and remember important patriotic symbols like the Liberty Bell, Statue of Liberty, and the American flag. Perfect for students of any age, these American symbols for kids are ideal for homeschool history lessons, patriotic holidays, or to put up in your school room. Each poster includes a real photograph and a U.S. History fact to spark discussion and conversations.
Our family is so proud and blessed to live in the United States of America. We do not take our freedoms for granted – to homeschool our children, to read the Bible without fear of persecution, to elect our representatives, to speak freely.
We are grateful for our constitutional republic!
In order for my children to understand and appreciate these freedoms, I must teach them about America. So I do!
And honestly, it’s one of my favorite subjects. I am very slowly but surely becoming a ‘learned woman’ (ha) through teaching my children a classical education, and becoming a student of United States history has been a delight. Our history is quite messy at times, but it is worthy of understanding.

Learn American Symbols with U.S. Symbols Posters with Facts
Most weeks, I have something “extra” for us to do after our Bible time in the morning. I call our early morning learning “Bible Plus 1”. This used to be more formal in the days when all of my children were young and we were more One Room Schoolhouse-style. Since I have such a large age range now – 10th grade down to 4 years old – the types of extras that we work on has changed through the years.
➡️ You can take a step-by-step look at our Bible + 1 Morning Time! I show you several Plus 1’s I have used in the past.
While my big kids certainly know all of the U.S. Symbols featured on these printable posters, my little girls could use a bit more exposure. And that’s exactly what these types of posters do – expose my children to the history, background, and symbols of All Things America.
NOTE: These printable posters print in a crisp quality as long as you don’t use the Draft mode as I did. 😉 These are high quality images that I paid for, so they will print crisply and without streaks on the correct setting.
