I just love Philippians 4:8 and am working on committing it to memory. It’s such a simple list to remind Christ followers of what our eyes should be seeing and what our ears should be listening to.
And most importantly, what we should be thinking about. Pondering. Meditating on.
I need that reminder sometimes, and so do my kiddos.
For a portion of our copywork this week, my older two children will be writing this wonderful verse.
My 9 year-old will write it 2 times this week and my 7-year-old will write it once.
Also, each of my children will look up at least 1 of those things we should be thinking on each day in the dictionary.
Dictionary skills, ABC order, and copywork all in one! Win!
Copywork, especially writing Scripture, is such a wonderful way to seal these Words in our hearts. I love this method for my children and for me!

Hi! Do you have anything or know of anything that is for tracing practice and not copywork that is KJV? Thanks!
Hey Stephanie,
I am so sorry for my late reply! Do you have specific KJV Scripture you’d like to see for tracing lines? They aren’t hard to make and I already have the fonts to make them. I’d be happy to do it! If you’re looking for something specific, just let me know here, or you can shoot me an email: mama@mamaslearningcorner.com
Thanks!
Lauren
