Christmas cutting practice is one of our favorite Quiet Time activities in December—especially for preschool and Kindergarten children who love to cut, paste, and create. If your child is working on scissor skills, these Christmas cutting practice pages are an easy (and fun!) way to build fine motor strength and work on hand-eye coordination.
In this printable set, your child will cut along the dotted lines, cut apart a simple picture puzzle, and then paste it back together using the guide in the corner. It’s a simple cut-and-paste activity that keeps little hands busy while still feeling like play.
And if you’re putting together your December plans, these pair perfectly with Christmas coloring pages, a stack of favorite Christmas books, and a few easy crafts. Christmas Cutting Practice Pages
My little girls (just turned 5 and 6 1/2) are such fans of cutting practice pages! My youngest girl is a huge fan of cutting and pasting, so these are right up her alley.
In addition to these Christmas cutting pages, we will be working on Christmas coloring pages, reading many of our favorite Christmas books, and working on a few simple Christmas crafts!
In these cutting practice worksheets, your child cuts out the bottom portion along the dotted lines.
Then cut out the puzzle along the dotted lines. Yes, your child will cut through the picture!
Using the guide in the top left corner, paste the puzzle together correctly in the top box.
These are so fun for Preschool or Kindergarten children that love to cut and paste! What an easy, fun way to build fine motor skills.
Includes 10 puzzles.
