Aren’t Label the Picture worksheets just the best?! My almost 6-year-old sure thinks so! She is going to just adore this set of Christmas Label the Pictures pages.
And because she’s practicing handwriting and letter formation (she’s still in just the beginning stages), she’ll also complete a few of the writing pages as well.
Note: This packet was originally published in November 2016. It is updated with fresh fonts and small layout tweaks just in time for the 2020 Christmas Season!

Christmas Label the Picture Worksheets
This 20-page set of Christmas Label the Picture worksheets provide 10 pages of cut and paste practice and 10 pages of handwriting fill-in-the-blank practice.
Several of the words are intentionally repeated to increase recognition – present, Santa, sack, bow, etc.
While my almost 6-year-old is still reading CVC words only, there are still various ways we can use these worksheets together.
— She can practice beginning sounds.
— She can practice ending sounds.
— We can practice counting syllables.
— I model sounding out the words for her.
My daughter will use these worksheets in a couple of ways. Some cut and paste worksheets will be just for fun, with my help reading the words.
On occasion, I’ll have her complete the cut and paste worksheet, and then follow up with the handwriting worksheet behind it. The words and concepts will still be fresh in her mind as I help with the handwriting portion.
And of course she’ll color them all, because she’s a coloring machine these days. 😉
Before you ask, I’ve mentioned a few times that we don’t “do Santa” at our house for personal reasons, however, my children certainly know all about him! This packet includes only secular-type Christmas pictures to label.
