Counting Money Worksheet
While my children and I do a lot of “playing store” with the play cash register, I add in a Counting Money worksheet every now and then. I believe that counting and using real money as a manipulative is usually best, I do have times a use a worksheet so my children can practice writing the money they count.
They need to understand the various money symbols and ways of writing money accurately, and that takes practice!
This particular worksheet focuses on counting 4 of the basic coins in American Currency and recognizing it in written form. Your children will count quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies in various combinations.
