Color By Number Preschool Worksheets
This set of color-by-number worksheets are super fun for the preschoolers in your life!
The worksheets in this 4-page set focus on number recognition for numbers 1-10.
Pictures included: Tools (hammer and nail), hot air balloon, an island with palm tree, and a jeweled crown.
These worksheets also provide a great opportunity to focus on color recognition and color words. You’ll find the primary colors used, along with the color gray.
With this type of worksheet, I help my young one identify the correct colors first and we pull those out of the container. I see if my child can recognize the first letter in the word like this:
Can you find the word that starts with /r/? Red. r-e-d. Then we pull out the red crayon, underline or circle the number assigned to that color, and then move on to the next color.
This is just an easy way to incorporate phonics into every lesson.
