Well, Friends, after 5 years I have decided to resurrect my little homeschool You Tube channel. No one is more surprised than I am. 😂
There are a few behind-the-scenes reasons why I decided to start creating videos again, but the main reason is because the Lord nudged me to tell me it was time.
I explain it a bit more in the longer of these two videos, but the short version is I just didn’t have much to say and I didn’t have the mental bandwidth to create anything new.
Thankfully, I am over that hump and in a new season of life. I am sure most of you can relate!
I mention this in both of the videos: my vision for my You Tube channel remains the same in that I want to offer homeschool mama encouragement, curriculum helps, lots of how-to, and learning ideas for your own children.
I plan (hope) to publish a new video 2-4 times each month. I do hope that I can do one video each week – for a total of 4 each month – however I need to be gentle with myself. I am heading into a very overwhelming homeschool year and I am painfully behind in All The Things to be ready for our start date in 2 1/2 weeks.
So please bear with me as I figure out my new blogging and You Tube schedule as our family moves from Summer Mode back to School Mode.

I am not one for much Social Media, however, I do like You Tube on occasion. I have spent the last couple of days digging into all of the features of You Tube since I am only an occasional user. So many things have changed in the past several years there! There are a few nice features if watching You Tube is your thing.
If you would like to save my You Tube channel as one of your Subscriptions, just click on the ‘Subscribe’ button.
Then my channel will show up in your Home feed, but more importantly, my newest videos will show up in your Subscriptions Feed. I only follow a handful of channels, but I really like that feature and use it often.
Lastly, I see that You Tube has a new Community feature. Well, I’m not sure how new it is to the rest of the world, but it is new to me after the 5 year hiatus!
I haven’t poked around with it a whole ton, but it seems to be similar to a Status Post update from Facebook or a Tweet on Twitter. The difference is that it stays only on your channel, and you have to go hunt for them on each and every channel.
It would be nice to have a feed of just Community Posts from the channels you follow. (hint, hint You Tube!)
I’m kind of a dinosaur when it comes to Social Media (and I am totally fine with this), so I’m not really sure how other people use the Community Posts feature. I’m going to share things there multiple times a day, so we will see if anyone can even find them. 😂
Welcome Back to You Tube!
Here’s the Welcome Back to You Tube video, which is a good look at what you can expect at my little channel.

I apologize in advance that this one is a bit long, but maybe you can watch it while you’re washing dishes or folding clothes. Those seem to be the only times I ever catch up on anything that has a video. And that’s only if the house is quiet and no one is calling my name!
