These printable booklets focus on short vowel CVC words, which are foundational for beginning readers. Children stamp each letter to build the word and then write the word on the handwriting lines. Each booklet covers one vowel sound and includes several familiar, decodable words.
Here’s what you’ll find in this packet:

To assemble these easy to print and go booklets:
➡️ Each short vowel booklet contains a cover page, 10 CVC pages, and an ‘I can read…’ Page.
➡️ The cover page should be first and then ‘I can read…’ Page should be last. The other CVC pages can be in the order you and your child choose.
➡️ After printing, cut each page in half along the dotted lines. Then staple down the grey edge to make a book.
Once your students have completed the stamping and writing activities, they can color the pictures.
The letter area to stamp in each booklet is a 1″ square.
