This set of phonics short vowel CVC Word clip cards provides ample opportunity to practice and master short vowel sounds, while taking a break from a typical worksheet.
Each card in this printable packet has an image with a choice of two words underneath. Your student should choose the word that describes the picture.
My son is going to use clothespins to indicate his answers, but you could easily place a bear counter or any other game piece on top of the correct choice.
Another alternative is to place the cards on a sheet pan and use magnets to indicate the answer. That idea is always a fun change of pace!
