How to Use 1st Grade Summer Worksheets Week 5

The weekly summer skills packets all follow the same formula. They each have 25 pages total with a daily math drill.

Each packet consists of:

There are plenty of worksheets to practice skills in these packets. I wrote these to be a more intense review, covering math, phonics, handwriting, sight words, math drill, and a fun color by code page each day.

You certainly do not have to do every page every day! Only print the ones that are needed in your home. I simply included an abundance of pages so you can pick and choose the right content for your children.

Daily Math Drills

Also included as a bonus with these weekly worksheet packets is a daily math drill. Each column includes 12 equations to solve.

In this packet, the equations include:

Day 1: Addition Doubles to 20
Day 2: Subtraction Doubles to 20
Day 3: Mixed Addition and Subtraction Doubles within 20
Day 4: Addition plus
Day 5: Subtraction minus

If you have learners that are easily distracted, cut apart the columns after printing so only one day at the time is visible.
