Word searches have always been a favorite around the Hill House, especially for those times when a child needs something productive to work on while I help a sibling. This Easter Word Search Printable set is a great option for early elementary students, with simple word lists and an Easter theme centered on Jesus’ last days on Earth.
In the packet you’ll find four puzzles that walk through the story from the Triumphal Entry to the Resurrection. They’re a simple, print-and-go way to review vocabulary while understanding the events of Holy Week.

Ways to Use These Word Searches at Home, Church, or Class
There are a variety of ways to use these word search pages. Here are a few to get you started:
Morning work or table time – Set one page out before lessons begin for a calm, focused start to your homeschool day.
Quiet work while you teach another child – Keep a small stack printed and ready for independent time.
Bible lesson follow-up – Read the Easter story together, then reinforce the vocabulary with a matching word search.
Holy Week review – Use one puzzle each day leading up to Easter to walk through the events of Jesus’ last days. (This is what our family does each year!)
Fast finishers – A great option for children who complete their work early and need something purposeful.
Travel or church activities – Slip a copy onto a clipboard for car rides, waiting rooms, or quiet church bags.
Vocabulary and spelling practice – Have students highlight, trace, or write each word after they find it. Take the time for some phonics review if needed by choosing 3-4 words and analyzing the vowels, syllables, etc.
