Word searches are always a hit here at the Hill House! I usually keep a stack of them lying on my school table. They’re the perfect thing for a child to grab and work on (quietly!!) while they’re waiting for a turn with me.
Since Easter is upon us, this set of word searches focuses on the death and resurrection of Christ.

Aside from the Bible (of course!), here are a few of our favorite books about Christ’s death and resurrection.
The Week That Led to Easter – an ARCH book, which is a fabulous Biblical series for kids
The Easter Story by Patricia Pingry – This is our favorite! The pictures are beautiful and the text is just right for young elementary ages.
The Story of Jesus by Jane Werner Watson – This is also our favorite – if you can have two favorites, that is! Beautiful illustrations and a lovely look at Jesus’ life on earth.
