If you need free printable valentines cards for school at the last minute, you’re in the right place! This set includes 8 black-and-white Valentine cards your kids can quickly color, sign, and hand out at a class party, church group, or homeschool co-op.
For the past couple of years, my children and I have attended a Valentine’s Day Bowling party with the homeschool crowd from our church. It is just so fun! It’s coming up again next week, and my children are looking forward to it.
Each year at our bowling party, the children exchange Valentines and candy with one another. It never fails that I forget this particular detail until the night before the party. And then it’s too late to go to the store to find Valentines to address.
Last year in a desperate last minute move, I created these Valentine’s Day Cards at 11 pm the night before the Valentine’s Day party. My children – thankfully! – got them colored and written before the party that afternoon!
So to save you from having to create your own, or your children having to create 20 different cards from scratch, just download this set!

Free Printable Valentines Cards for School
Every year, Valentine parties sneak up on me—especially when we have a class party, church group event, or homeschool gathering on the calendar. If you’ve ever remembered the night before (been there more than once! 🙋♀️), these printables are for you.
This set is simple and stress-free: print, color, sign, and go. And if you print them on colored paper, you don’t even need to color them! That’s a big win if you’re short on time!
At a Glance
- Pages: 1 (or however many you need)
- Includes: 8 designs
- Best for: school parties, homeschool co-op, Sunday school
- Prep time: 5–15 minutes
What’s Included in the Valentine Printable Card Set
You’ll get 8 different Valentine card designs in black and white.
Because they’re black-and-white:
- You can print on white cardstock and let kids color with crayons or markers
- OR print on colored cardstock for instant “wow” (and quicker coloring!)
I made these Valentines black and white so they could be printed on colored card stock, and my girls could add their own personal touches by coloring with markers or crayons.
If your boys balk at the purple and pink card stock, just print on orange or green or any other color your son loves!

How to Use These Valentine Cards
- Download the PDF below.
- Print on cardstock (recommended) or regular paper.
- Have kids color if desired.
- Cut out the cards.
- Kids sign their names (and add “To:” if you’d like).
- Tape on a Dum-Dum or Blow Pop sucker or even a roll of Smarties. (optional)
- Hand them out at your Valentine party!
And here’s a great time-saver idea: If your child has to make a lot of cards, have them color just a little on each card (a border, a heart, a character) and move on. That still adds a fun personal touch for each card.

Printing Tips (So They Turn Out Great!)
Read and use these printing tips for your Valentines Cards and you will be so happy with your result!
- Cardstock works best for sturdier classroom Valentines.
- If you only have printer paper, you can glue cards onto construction paper after coloring.
- For brightest results, set your printer to best quality (if you have time/ink).
- Print an extra page or two—someone always needs a redo.
