Winter graphing worksheets are one of my favorite ways to sneak in real math practice without it seeming like “more math work.” In this printable set, kids will count winter pictures, fill in a bar graph, and then answer simple questions to analyze the data—a perfect fit for Kindergarten through 2nd grade. It’s print-and-go, easy to explain, and works well for independent practice when you need a smooth math time in your homeschool.
North Carolina cannot decide if it’s winter or spring. Last week, we had snow and ice. Today, it’s 71 degrees! Regardless of our unpredictable weather, my kiddos and I are still working on winter-themed activities.
Winter File Folder Games, winter crafts, and winter books still abound here at the Hill House!
And to add to that, I created this set of Winter Bar Graph Worksheets for my Kindergartner and 2nd grader to work on this week.
Note: This post was originally written in 2017 and has been updated several times through the years. Please download the newest version and enjoy again!

How to Use These Winter Bar Graph Pages
To use this worksheet set, print all pages in the download on different pieces of paper. It’s best not to print front-to-back, so all of the papers can be laid out side-by-side to best view the data.
Next, your child should count the number of each object shown on the picture page. Use a pencil, crayons, stickers, or markers to graph the correct number of the given object.
After your child has completed the graph (also called a bar chart), make sure she completes the last page where she analyzes her data!
If you are using this worksheet set in a classroom setting, this would make a great math center! Just laminate or place the picture counting page in a page protector. Then have the graphing and analyzing sheets available with stickers, crayons, etc. to place on the graph. Super easy to set up!
